Alternating Pressure Pads (APP Pads or bubble pads) have air filled cells that alternately inflate and deflate to evenly redistribute pressure. They are designed to be placed between the existing bed mattress and sheet. APP Pads improve patients comfort and aid in the prevention and treatment of bed sores and pressure ulcers. APP pads are available for monthly rental.
